Sunday School Department
Welcome to the Sunday School Department of A.C.K. St. James & All Martyrs Memorial Cathedral. We are the cornerstone of the strong foundation of Christians in the church, nurturing young hearts and minds from a tender age. Our department takes pride in inspiring good Christian values and raising strong individuals who are faithful to God, conscious of their faith, and relevant in society.
Imparting Christian Values
Our objective is to instill in children a deep understanding of God’s word, cultivating maturity and sound Christian lives. We strive to nurture Christian cultured disciples who have the power to positively influence others in society. Through engaging lessons, activities, and discussions, we create an environment where children can grow in their faith and develop a strong Christian character.
Age-Appropriate Services
Under the leadership of the provost and appointed clergy, the Sunday School Department runs four simultaneous services, catering to different age groups. All services start at 8:45 AM and conclude at 10:45 AM. Our services include:
Baby Class: Designed for toddlers aged between 2 and 5 years, we provide a nurturing environment where our youngest learners begin their journey of faith.
Sunday School: Geared towards children aged between 6 and 9 years, our Sunday School program offers engaging lessons, interactive activities, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
Juniors: Specifically designed for children aged between 10 and 12 years, our Juniors program encourages deeper exploration of biblical teachings and their application in daily life.
Seniors (Teens): Created for teens aged between 13 and 14 years, our Seniors program addresses the unique challenges and questions they face as they navigate their teenage years, helping them grow in faith and character.
